What’s Inside?
COBALT | 190mgCobalt is converted by rumen bacteria into vitamin B12, essential for energy metabolism, and therefore optimum growth. A constant supply of cobalt is needed.
IODINE | 600mglodine is an essential component of the thyroid hormones, responsible for regulating metabolism and body processes.
SELENIUM | 100mgSelenium is essential for normal cell function and maintaining immunity levels. Selenium helps to neutralise harmful free radicals and protect cells from oxidative stress. Selenium is also important in supporting good fertility.
COPPERCopper (optional) is vital for enzyme function and healthy weight gain. Deficiency can be due to low dietary levels (primary) or interference from antagonists in soil, water, or feed (secondary), which limit copper availability.
Also contains levels of manganese and zinc to support immunity, reproductive health, growth, and metabolism.
Application Guidelines
Suitable for sheep weighing 40kg+
- Each bolus should be given at intervals exceeding six months, unless otherwise authorised by a vet.
- If supplying copper, the copper status of the flock should be known and no other form of copper supplement should be given immediately prior or for 6 months from application.
- Simultaneous supplementation of additives with a maximum content from other sources to those incorporated in a bolus should be avoided.

Clinical Signs
- Swayback (enzootic ataxia) in lambs
- Pine in lambs
- Goitre
- Stillbirths and weak lambs
- Poor thermoregulation
- Ill-thrift
- Poor / steely wool
- Anaemia
- Diarrhoea
- White muscle disease
- Retained placenta
- Increased mortality in ewes
Subclinical Signs
- Reduced fertility and lambing percentage
- Lower wool yield and tensile strength
- Decreased immune response
- Poor growth and weight gain
- Smaller lambs
