Feed as a colostrum replacer:
Mix 750 g into 2l of water to make 2.75l of ready-to-feed colostrum,
feed within 1-2 hours and repeat 6 hours later to fully replace maternal colostrum.
Ensure the calf receives at least one feed of colostrum within 6 hours
of birth.
Only one feed should be required, though may be repeated as an energy boost within 24 hours if needed.
Three to four feeds should be given to orphan calves as a replacement for maternal colostrum.
