Description
The Norbrook Taurador Injection Solution contains 10mg/ml doramectin and is effective against a wide range of internal and external parasites in cattle and sheep. Cattle: For the treatment of gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, warbles, lice, mange mites and eye worms in cattle.
Sheep: For the treatment of gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, mange mites (scab) and nasal bots in sheep.
Dose Rates
Cattle: Dose rate of 1ml/50kg bodyweight. Administer in the region of the neck by subcutaneous injection.
Sheep: Dose rate of 1ml/33kg bodyweight for the treatment and control of Psoroptes ovis (sheep scab mite) and adult Nematodirus battus.. Administer in the region of the neck by intramuscular injection.
Sheep: Dose rate of 1ml/50kg bodyweight for the treatment and control of certain other gastro-intestinal nematodes and nasal bots.
Withdrawal Period
CATTLE:
Meat and offal: 70 days
Not permitted for use in lactating animals producing milk for human consumption.
Do not use in pregnant cows or heifers, which are intended to produce milk for human consumption, within 2 months of expected parturition.
SHEEP:
Meat and offal: 70 days
Not permitted for use in lactating animals producing milk for human consumption.
Do not use in pregnant ewes, which are intended to produce milk for human consumption, within 70 days of expected parturition.
Animals should be weighed and grouped according to bodyweight to avoid under and over dosing.
When injecting groups of animals, use a suitable automatic dosing device and vented draw-off apparatus.
Accuracy of the dosing device should be thoroughly checked.
