A broad spectrum anthelmintic for control of benzimidazole susceptible mature and developing immature forms of the following nematodes of the gastrointestinal and respiratory tracts of pigs. For the treatment of pigs infected with: Hyostrongylus rubidus (red stomach worm); Oesophagostomum sp. (nodular worms); Ascaris suum (eel worm); Trichuris suis (whip worm); Metastrongylus apri (lungworm). | |||||||||||||||||||||
Dosage And Administration | |||||||||||||||||||||
For oral administration after incorporation into complete feed for pigs. The recommended therapeutic dose is 5mg fenbendazole per kg bodyweight. | |||||||||||||||||||||
Pigs: The recommended therapeutic dose is 30mg of combined actives per kg bodyweight daily. To allow thorough dispersion of the product, Curazole 5% W/W Premix for medicated feed should first be mixed with 20kg of feed before incorporating in the final feed.
