BEDMAX shavings are large flake pine shavings, purpose made to provide an ideal bedding for horses and ponies.
They are made at three dedicated BEDMAX production plants in the UK, from fresh timber sourced from renewable UK forestry. BEDMAX shavings were developed to offer owners a natural bedding that would help address the issues that threaten the health and welfare of horses in stables.

Our Screening Process
All of the shavings produced by BEDMAX are tailor-made in three production plants from renewable British Timber.
To ensure that we provide you with the very highest quality horse bedding, the trees which we use are carefully selected from forests throughout the UK. During the production process, the shavings are constantly screened using cutting edge technology to remove dust and small particles of wood.
Despite this rigorous screening, we cannot guarantee that very occasionally small pieces of wood will not get through our screening system. This is a very rare occurrence, however, if you do find a larger particle of wood in a bag, our advice is to remove it and dispose of it appropriately.
